After a couple of wooden dough whisks broke on me (not to mention the cruft that can build up in the hole where the metal enters the handle), I was excited to see a dough whisk with better construction that would alleviate my woes.
Love the heft of the build, but when mixing slightly stiffer doughs, I can feel the silicon grip on the handle shift a little. I wish the silicon was bonded to the underlying material to prevent this movement, but otherwise it’s great
I don't see the benefit of using this whisk over other utensils I've used in the past. That being said, this whisk is very well made.
I recently answered a pole in my Facebook group about my favorite kitchen tool. Without question, it’s my Brød and Taylor danish Whisk. I have owned a dozen danish whisks over the years and they have all ended the same way. They’ve come apart or bent under the pressure. The construction on this whisk is superior and it’s ergonomic design make it comfortable and functional. I bought a second one just to use when the first one is dirty.
I’ve only used once so far but sure helped mixing dough with pretty much least work.
Love it! Just what I wanted and needed. Perfect.
